First off, I would really like to thank all of you who have opted to visit my page and observe my works. It is an honor to have garnered such attention for such pitiful skills.

I am very much not active on this forum. I have been making small efforts to set myself up so that I could not only display my own portfolio, but also identify fellow artists who desire comments and critiques and thus fulfill my role as a community member. However, I have been observing this site for over a year and become very put off by its politics and behavior. I am disappreciative of how some of my favorite artists are being chased off by the site's increasingly conservative policies and activisms, I am annoyed at its poor performance issues and its staff's misaligned sense of priorities, and I am utterly offended at how otaku humor and bad fanart are constantly given the privilege of front page coverage. In fact, the straw that broke the camel's back was my recent learning that they would be awarding "Daily Deviations" to nothing but Harry Potter fanart. So, I need to take a HUGE break from this place.

Maybe I will come back once in a while to fulfill my community service obligation of giving other artists valued comments and attention, but NO MORE ART. Something is very rotten in the state of Denmark, and I don't want this site to have access to anymore of my work.
